about me: thinh lang.
growing up in saigon, vietnam. i have always wanted to be something.
2020, founded @galleryofvincentt focused on importing and distributing high-end artisan ceramic tableware from china and indonesia to restaurants, lounges, hotels, and resorts in vietnam. i had a great time bringing value to owners, chefs, and designers from many big names in horeca across the country.
2021, co-founded error404studioz focused on designing and manufacturing trendy masks that sold more than 2000 pieces in just 6 months during the pandemic.
disillusioned and unmoored, i ended up closing them down. since then, i kept questioning myself who i wanted to become.
2023, moved to toronto, started studying it with a basic thought: “i want to manage things!”. my studies focused on programming and data analysis. i took part in many projects, some frustrating, most weren’t. i learned a lot.
so random, i met @minh.ngô, who inspired me about urbanism. when i discovered the urban development around the world, it all clicked after many years of wondering. the feeling then was special. really special.
2025, took a course in suburbs planning. i enjoyed every class. connected the dots after a long journey, i studied business, supply chain, then information technology. each gave me a puzzle of this big picture, and was the answer to my question.
with a great interest in building resilient transportation, enhancing traditional culture, and developing public administration for my saigon, i want to be an urban innovator, inspired by the master of urban innovation at the university of toronto.
